If not this news is coming out of Mobile World Congress which is a giant conference where most mobile manufacturers are showing off their new tech. Most of the hype has been on folding screen phones but 5G is next big thing all manufacturers are releasing 5G phones.
Most people’s initial experience with 5G will be through mobile phones however it is not only for mobile phones, 5G is meant to usher in the next generation of connected devices.

The 5G network will be a huge upgrade and offers speeds that are up to 20 times faster than 4G. Latency has been improved which translates to quicker network connection times, and the scale of devices that can be connected at once in astounding which will allow for better experience in crowded locations. What all this means is that all 5G enabled devices will be able to communicate faster and use less power enabling a truly connected world. Globally mobile technologies and service accounted for 4.4% of GDP and that is expected to rise to 4.9% by 2020
