Terms and Conditions - Aerion Technologies Grant

  1. Eligibility:
  • 1.1. The Aerion Technologies Grant (“the Grant”) is open to funded start-ups, scale-ups, and small to medium-sized businesses (“Participants”).
  • 1.2. Participants must meet the requirements of a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) as defined by the Australian Taxation Office. Start-ups must have a minimum of $300,000 in funding allocated to technology development.
  • 1.3. Employees of Aerion Technologies and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Grant.
  1. Application Process:
  • 2.1. Participants must submit a complete application through the designated online application form within the specified timeframe.
  • 2.2. Only one application per Participant is allowed.
  • 2.3. All submitted information must be true, accurate, and up to date. Any false or misleading information may result in disqualification from the Grant.
  1. Winner Selection:
  • 3.1. Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges selected by Aerion Technologies.
  • 3.2. The judging criteria will include creativity, understanding of the target market, and the outcomes the Participant wishes to achieve.
  • 3.3. The judges’ decision is final and binding and cannot be challenged or appealed.
  1. Grant Prize:
  • 4.1. The Grant prize includes a DevReady consultation by Aerion Technologies valued at $40,000.
  • 4.2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
  • 4.3. Aerion Technologies reserves the right to modify or substitute the prize with an alternative of equal value at its discretion.
  1. Grant Timeline:
  • 5.1. The application period for the Grant will be specified in the promotional material.
  • 5.2. Winners will be selected and notified by mid-September 2023.
  • 5.3. The duration of the DevReady consultation will be determined in consultation with the winner.
  1. Publicity and Promotion:
  • 6.1. By participating in the Grant, Participants grant Aerion Technologies the right to use their names, company names, and images for promotional purposes related to the Grant, without any additional compensation.
  1. Data Privacy:
  • 7.1. Any personal information collected from Participants during the application process will be handled in accordance with Aerion Technologies’ privacy policy.
  • 7.2. By participating in the Grant, Participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information as outlined in the privacy policy.
  1. Limitation of Liability:
  • 8.1. Aerion Technologies, its employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the Grant.
  • 8.2. Participants agree to release and hold Aerion Technologies harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their participation in the Grant.
  1. Modifications and Termination:
  • 9.1. Aerion Technologies reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Grant at any time without prior notice.
  • 9.2. In the event of termination, Aerion Technologies shall not be held liable for any losses or damages incurred by Participants.
  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
  • 10.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Aerion Technologies is based.
  • 10.2. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Grant shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Aerion Technologies.
