BlogAccess Expert Advice and Funding with the Entrepreneurs’ Programme

My co-founder and I started Aerion Technologies a little more than a decade ago, and over the years, we have worked towards helping non-tech founders build better tech. Not only are we a company that helps businesses build custom software and applications, but we also understand the importance of growth and innovation. That’s why, through the newsletter, I have been trying to share some opportunities for founders in the space. This week I’m excited to share a programme that can assist businesses looking to expand their capabilities and drive growth. And the programme is ‘The Entrepreneurs’ Programme.’

Caveat: It’s important to note here that Aerion in no way is sponsored by this programme, however, have had several clients over the years that have had great success by leveraging its benefits. As you already know, our passion is to help Non-Tech Build Better Tech!

What is the Entrepreneurs’ Programme?

The Entrepreneurs’ Programme is an initiative by the Australian Government that supports and funds businesses to improve their productivity and competitiveness. The programme offers a range of services, including:

  1. Accelerating Commercialisation

This service provides expert guidance and funding to help businesses commercialise their products or services, bringing them to market faster.

  • Business Management

This service gives businesses access to expert advice and assistance on topics such as strategic planning, financial management, and marketing.

  • Incubator Support

This service provides funding and support to incubators, which help start-ups and entrepreneurs to grow and succeed.

Who is eligible for the Entrepreneurs’ Programme?

The Entrepreneurs’ Programme is open to small and medium-sized businesses operating in Australia. To be eligible, businesses must meet certain criteria, including:

  1. Being registered for GST and operating in a competitive market.
  2. Having an annual turnover of between $1.5 million and $100 million.
  3. Being able to demonstrate a commitment to growth and innovation.
How can the Entrepreneurs’ Programme help your business?

The Entrepreneurs’ Programme can help your business in several ways, including:

access to expert advice and support

One of the key benefits of the Entrepreneurs’ Programme is the access it provides to expert advice and support. Businesses participating in the programme can access a range of experts, including business advisers, commercialisation advisers, and innovation facilitators.

Business advisers are experts in business management and can provide advice and guidance on various topics, such as strategic planning, financial management, and marketing. They can help businesses to identify areas for improvement, develop strategies for growth, and implement best practices.

Commercialisation advisers are experts in bringing products and services to market. They can provide advice and guidance on product development, market research, intellectual property protection, and other aspects of commercialisation. They can also help businesses to access funding and investment opportunities.

Innovation facilitators are experts in innovation and can provide advice and guidance on developing and implementing new ideas and technologies. They can help businesses to identify opportunities for innovation, develop strategies for implementing new technologies, and access funding and support for innovation projects.

Another key benefit of the Entrepreneurs’ Programme is its funding to businesses. The programme offers a range of grants and funding opportunities, including the Accelerating Commercialisation Grant, which I discussed in the previous newsletter

The Accelerating Commercialisation Grant provides up to $1 million in funding to help businesses bring their products or services to market. The grant can be used to cover a range of costs, including product development, market research, and intellectual property protection.

In addition to the Accelerating Commercialisation Grant, the Entrepreneurs’ Programme offers a range of other funding opportunities, such as the Business Growth Fund and the Incubator Support initiative; and these I will talk about in the upcoming newsletters. These funding opportunities can help businesses to access the resources they need to grow and succeed.

productivity and competitiveness

By providing businesses with expert advice and support, the Entrepreneurs’ Programme can help founders to become more productive and competitive. This can drive growth and success for businesses, helping them to achieve their goals.

Businesses participating in the Entrepreneurs’ Programme can access expert advice and support on improving their productivity. This can involve identifying inefficiencies in business processes, implementing new technologies and systems, and improving employee training and development.

The Entrepreneurs’ Programme can also help businesses to become more competitive. This can involve developing new products and services, expanding into new markets, and improving marketing and branding strategies. Businesses can increase their market share and drive growth by becoming more competitive.

If you’re a small or medium-sized business operating in Australia and looking to drive growth and innovation, the Entrepreneurs’ Programme could be just what you need. Visit the website to learn more about the programme and how to apply.
